The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026 was the most-watched tournament of the Esports World Cup and of the third quarter, reaching roughly 2.89 million peak concurrent viewers according to Esports Charts.[3] That was still about 6% below MSC 2025, so it wasn't a record for the event — and January's M7 World Championship (about 5.7 million) remains MLBB's, and esports', biggest peak of 2026. It was the first time MSC was held in Europe, with new qualification routes for India, Thailand, South Korea and Western Europe and a prize pool reported at $3 million.[2]
Why MLBB is so big
MLBB, a free mobile MOBA from Moonton, is a phenomenon in Indonesia, the Philippines and across Southeast Asia, where many fans play on phones rather than PCs. Its biggest matches regularly out-draw PC esports in peak viewership.
