How we review and score every site

Every score on LuckyQuack comes from the same weighted criteria, checked against licences, published terms and dated player and industry reports — never from what a site pays us.

Here is exactly what we check, how much each part counts and how often we check again.

Our review process, step by step

01

Check the licence

We confirm who licenses each site and look it up on the regulator’s own register.

02

Read every term

Bonus rules, withdrawal limits, fees and verification steps, line by line.

03

Cross-check the real world

Player complaints, app-store ratings and payout reports, so the marketing never gets the last word.

04

Re-check monthly

Scores change when terms, apps, payouts or licences change.

Independence and updates

We earn a commission when you sign up through some of our links. It never changes a score: reviewers don’t see commercial terms, and sites can’t pay to be listed or ranked higher.

We re-check every listed site at least once a month and immediately when terms, payouts or licences change. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the date at the top of the page.

What we test — and what we don’t

What we check for every review

Licence or regulatory status on the regulator’s own register, the published terms (bonuses, fees, limits, verification), availability by country or state, and dated third-party reports. Each review lists its sources and the date it was last checked.

What we don’t do (yet)

We don’t yet make systematic test deposits and withdrawals. Payout times shown are the operators’ stated times, checked against player reports. When we start hands-on tests, each review will say exactly which tests were run, when, and what happened.

Our ducks are the bylines: each vertical’s mascot signs the reviews and guides for that section. Behind them, the LuckyQuack editorial team researches, writes and fact-checks every page, and is responsible for what we publish.
