Two kinds of esports bonus
Regulated sportsbooks — bet365, Betway, Unibet, DraftKings — usually offer standard sportsbook welcome bonuses (free bets, bet-and-get, deposit matches) that can often be used on esports. Terms are regulated and comparatively simple.
Crypto esports sites — GG.BET, Thunderpick, Stake, Roobet — advertise larger match bonuses and rakeback, often with wagering requirements that make them worth much less than the headline.
Terms that matter
| Term | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | 10× on a $100 bonus means $1,000 of bets before withdrawal |
| Minimum odds | Many esports favourites fall below the minimum |
| Eligible markets | Some bonuses exclude esports or props |
| Expiry | Unused bonus funds vanish |
| Max win / bet caps | Limits how much you can win with bonus money |
