How we rank online casinos
Every score on this page is a weighted average of five criteria, explained in full on How we rate:
| Criterion | Weight | What we check |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus fairness | 25% | Wagering multiplier and basis, game weighting, caps, time limits |
| Game library | 20% | Number and range of games, studios, RTP transparency |
| Payouts | 25% | Methods, stated and reported withdrawal times, limits |
| Safety & licence | 20% | Regulator, company behind it, testing, safer-gambling tools |
| App & support | 10% | Mobile apps, support channels, ease of use |
We use each operator's published terms, licence registers and independent player reports. Operators can't pay to be listed or to change their score.

Our top picks, explained

What to look for before you sign up
- A licence for where you live — and verify it on the regulator's site. Our safe online casino guide shows how.
- Bonus terms you understand — the wagering basis matters as much as the multiplier. See wagering requirements explained.
- The games you actually play — slots, live tables or blackjack.
- Payment methods you can withdraw to, not just deposit with.
- Safer-gambling tools you can set yourself: deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion.
How to sign up at an online casino
- Check it's licensed where you are — a state regulator in the US, iGaming Ontario in Ontario, or a recognised regulator elsewhere.
- Register with your legal name, date of birth and address.
- Verify your identity straight away (ID, sometimes proof of address) so your first withdrawal isn't held up.
- Read the bonus terms before you deposit: wagering, eligible games, maximum bet, expiry and any withdrawal cap. Skip the bonus if the terms don't suit you.
- Deposit with a method you can also withdraw to.
- Set limits — deposit, loss and time limits — before you play.
Payments and payout speed
| Method | Typical withdrawal time after approval | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Play+ (US casino prepaid card) | Same day | BetMGM, DraftKings |
| PayPal / Venmo | Within a day or two | US casinos |
| Skrill / NETELLER | 1–2 days | International casinos |
| Online banking / ACH | 1–5 business days | |
| Debit card | 1–5 business days | |
| Prepaid vouchers (Paysafecard) | — | Deposit only; you need a second method to withdraw |
The fastest withdrawals are usually through e-wallets (PayPal, Venmo, Skrill, NETELLER) or a casino prepaid card like Play+, often within a day of approval. Cards and bank transfers typically take one to five business days. Your first withdrawal is slowest because of identity checks — verify your account on day one. Full details in our guide to casino withdrawal times.
Mobile casinos
All the casinos we list work on phones. Spin Casino, BetMGM and DraftKings have the strongest apps; Lucky Nugget and Platinum Play work through the mobile browser.
