The short version
“Stake.us is the slickest sweepstakes casino around. Just remember it's a sweepstakes, not a licensed casino — and the states are closing in.”
Key facts

Bonus terms, in plain English
Welcome offer: Daily 10,000 GC + 1 Stake Cash; sign-up offers up to 25 SC with partner codes (reported)
Stake.us gives a daily bonus of about 10,000 GC + 1 Stake Cash, plus frequent bonus drop codes and races. Sign-up offers vary with partner codes — up to about 25 Stake Cash has been reported. Mail-in requests are reported to pay about 5 SC each.
The key rule: Stake Cash carries 3× playthrough — 10 SC needs 30 SC of play — before it's redeemable. Stake also returns a share of play as rakeback. Redemptions must use the same currency type you last bought Gold Coins with (crypto purchase, crypto redemption).
Stake.us is the US sweepstakes sister of the global crypto brand Stake, run by Sweepsteaks Limited since 2022. It uses the standard dual-currency model — Gold Coins for fun and Stake Cash (its Sweeps Coins) for prizes — with one of the biggest game libraries in sweepstakes and fast crypto redemptions. It also has the strictest playthrough among the big brands.

3× playthrough: the catch
At Stake.us, Stake Cash must be wagered three times before it's redeemable — 10 SC needs 30 SC of play. That's three times the norm and means more of your free coins are exposed to the house edge. The maths is in Sweeps Coins playthrough explained.
Games
Reviewers count 3,000+ games, including about 1,500+ slots from major studios, live casino and game shows, and Stake Originals such as Plinko, Dice, Mines, Keno and crash games. It's the broadest lobby we've seen at a sweepstakes site.
Redemptions
| Stake.us (reported) | |
|---|---|
| Method | Cryptocurrency only |
| Minimum | ~30–50 SC, depending on the coin |
| Playthrough | 3× |
| Speed | Often fast once approved |
| Maximum | No reported cap on crypto redemptions |
| Currency rule | Redeem in the same type you last purchased with |
Crypto adds two complications: the coin's price can move before you sell, and selling it later can create a separate taxable gain. See sweepstakes casino taxes and how to redeem Sweeps Coins.
Legal status
Stake.us is excluded from states that ban sweepstakes casinos and has left others: it exited California and Tennessee after their laws changed and moved Illinois accounts to redeem-only in May 2026. In August 2026 Florida's attorney general sued Stake and VGW over sweepstakes gaming.[1] Check your state in our legal states checker.
Stake.us vs the alternatives
- McLuck — 1× playthrough and cash or gift card redemptions in dollars.
- WOW Vegas — a similar slot volume and its own originals, without crypto.
- Pulsz — fast Skrill cash payouts and native apps.
Stake.us: our verdict
Polished and generous, with a superb library, a 1 SC daily bonus and quick crypto payouts — but crypto-only redemptions, 3× playthrough and growing legal pressure mean it's best for experienced, crypto-comfortable players. Compare it in our ranking of the best sweepstakes casinos.
